Delivery of the components for the WAAM system arrived

Assembly begins – first hardware for the new WAAM system on site.

The first large components for the new collaborative WAAM system have arrived: Two 6-axis robots, two linear travel units, a massive turn-tilt table and several control cabinet modules were delivered on time. The necessary accessories such as cables, sensors, fastening elements and tool holders are also already on site.

The unloading was carried out with the support of our logistics team and was fed directly into the prepared assembly area. This laid the foundation for the assembly of the collaborative WAAM system. The next steps involve positioning, bolting, cabling and aligning the movement axes.

The following components were delivered:

• 2 Robots: KR120 R3100 with KR ROBOTstar and reisPAD teach pendant
• 2 linear units: KL 4000 with a travel distance of 3,900 mm
• Turn-tilt table: Positioner KP2-HVl100 with special faceplate
• Control cabinets
