Impulse seminar “Wear protection for metal components through laser hardening”

On September 24, 2025, ALOtec Dresden GmbH in Kesselsdorf hosted the impulse seminar “Wear protection for metal components through laser hardening.” Numerous participants from industry, research, and development took advantage of the opportunity to learn about current technologies, applications, and practical examples in a compact afternoon session.

The seminar was organized in collaboration with Building 3D e.V. as part of the “Additive on Site” series of events and was supported by the Saxony Trade & Invest.

The program included a technical presentation on laser hardening, a user testimonial from industry, the presentation of special processing optics, and a live demonstration directly on an ALOtec system. The seminar was complemented by an insight into the latest WAAM system technology and opportunities for professional exchange.

The consistently positive feedback from participants showed that there is great interest in practical formats relating to laser hardening.
