Wear and Corrosion Protection Conference · 10.– 11.06.2026

The 15th symposium on “Wear and corrosion protection of components through build-up welding” organized by SLV Halle GmbH will take place from June 10 to 11, 2026, in Halle (Saale).

During this conference, Lukas Olawsky, development engineer at ALOtec Dresden GmbH, will give a technical presentation on “Efficient repair and preventive protection through laser cladding”.

The presentation highlights the technical possibilities of using laser cladding to reliably save material and conserve resources. The focus is on extending component service life and increasing energy and material efficiency in maintenance.
