First movement in the system!

Cables laid, robots connected – and in motion for the first time!

In our collaborative WAAM system, power and data connections are taking shape: energy chains are installed, robot cables are fixed and the drives are switched on. The first movement from the transport position is complete.

Visible progress in the construction of this ultra-modern research facility for additive manufacturing using WAAM at the BTU Cottbus Chair of Joining and Welding Technology.

With the cabling and connection of the individual components, a further step has been taken in the construction of the WAAM robot system for the Chair of Joining and Welding Technology at BTU Cottbus.
