Repair instead of replacement parts. Cladding – even in places others can’t reach
Ship components, dock facilities, port equipment: We use laser cladding to repair parts that would otherwise have to be replaced. We perform repairs directly on the component—and we can reach areas where standard equipment simply won’t fit.
Three tools for hard-to-reach areas
- Narrow powder nozzle that allows us to work between crankshaft journals, in bearing passages, and on connecting rod journals—in other words, in places where conventional welding heads cannot reach.
- Internal coating optics for cavities and inner diameters. Bushings, bores, stern tubes, pump housings—reinforced from the inside.
- Compact robotic system that fits through ship hatches and operates in confined engine rooms. On-site repairs without removing the component.
